About the program
The Regional Showcase program runs all year long and celebrates the achievements of individuals, groups and businesses that have made significant contributions to regional South Australia.
The objective of the Regional Showcase program is to put a spotlight on regional South Australia by uncovering, telling and showcasing the stories of success.
These stories are published to a local, national and international audience to grow knowledge of the regions and uncover opportunities for economic investment and growth.
celebration event
The 2026 Regional Showcase Award winners will be announced at a celebration event on Thursday 5 November 2026.
Finalists, judges, sponsors, dignitaries and members of the community will be invited to attend.
HOW IT WORKS
Suggest a story
Help us track down the stories of regional success. Tell us about someone you know who goes above and beyond in their region.
Media exposure
We’ll take your suggestions and feed them to our journalists and then share them across our mastheads and with regional media.
Story analytics
In September, we’ll compile all the stories within specific award categories – including the Most Popular story based on reader votes.
Voting
We’ll be asking the public to vote on the top story through Solstice Media’s digital and print channels. We’ll also be asking program stakeholders to vote on various community and business awards.
Showcasing and
celebrating the best
Success stories from our regions are recognised and showcased at a celebration evening in October. The event is attended by finalists, judges, sponsors, dignitaries and members of the community.
