The home of the arts in SA
InReview is the independent and freely accessible home of professional arts reviewing and critique in South Australia.
With the support of partners and grant funders, InReview has grown from its beginnings in 2021 to fill what was a growing void in arts journalism in Adelaide.
InReview publishes professional, rigorous and credible arts journalism and cultural commentary each weekday, with a newsletter emailed to more than 50,000 subscribers every Saturday.
InReview gathers together South Australia’s most comprehensive pool of arts critics and journalists to review and explore every aspect of the arts and culture in South Australia.
The site covers theatre, music, books and poetry, visual art, dance, design and architecture, popular culture, film and television, and more, drawing on experienced local contributors and also giving opportunities to new voices. Our content is available to be republished on a Creative Commons basis.
The Helpmann Academy has joined with InReview on a mentoring project, which connects experienced critics with new voices and provides an outlet for their developing work.
InReview has recently expanded into Queensland, the start of our ambition to develop a new model for arts journalism throughout Australia – a community and philanthropy-funded project to support professional, rigorous and compelling arts and cultural journalism and commentary.
