Lameroo has been named South Australia’s Agricultural Town of the Year for 2025, taking top honours at a prestigious awards ceremony held at Lot.100 on Wednesday 5 November.

The Agricultural Town of the Year Award, an initiative of the Department of Primary Industries and Regions (PIRSA) and delivered in partnership with InDaily, highlights the vital role that agriculture plays in the regional landscape – being the backbone of many regional communities.

The Agricultural Town of the Year Award recognises South Australian towns that excel in agricultural practices and are great places to live and work.

The program provides an avenue where communities can learn from one another which will play a role in building capacity and increasing growth in regional South Australia.
